1. God is in charge

Job knew that God is in charge of everything that happens in this universe. But he misunderstood God by thinking he is the one causing him all these troubles. God did not permit Satan to take away Job’s life. God has a good intention for allowing Satan to harm Job. God knew that his name will ultimately be glorified so he let Satan harm Job. In Proverbs 19:21, there are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand. In Romans 8:28, and we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
