Exodus 25 Bible Study
1. God’s presence is important
The tabernacle represents God’s presence. Having God’s presence with you is important. If God is with you, everything you do will be a success. If you want God’s presence to be with you, you must be humble and obedient to carry out his commandments. You must live your life for God and put him first in everything you do. When you honor God, God will honor you. In Genesis 39:2, God was with Joseph and he prospered.
2. Give your offering with a cheerful heart
In Exodus 25:2, God commanded Moses to tell the Israelites to give their offerings with a cheerful heart. We must give tithes (Malachi 3:9) and offerings. Tithe is the 10% of your income give to the church. Not giving tithe is a sin. Offerings are money, possessions, or etc given for ministry willingly. We must give our offerings with cheerful heart because God love a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7). In Deuteronomy 15:10, give generously and God will bless you in you put your hand to do. In Proverbs 11:25, a generous man will prosper because he refreshes others. In 2 Corinthians 8:12, if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable regardless of how much you give.
