1. Put God first in your life

The Levites were taken by God in place of the firstborn males of the Israelite women to serve at the tabernacle. We should put God first in our lives in whatever we do so that everything we do will give glory to God (Colossians 3:17; 1 Corinthians 10:31). In 2 Timothy 2:15, study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. In Romans 6:13, neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. In James 1:12, blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. In James 1:18, of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
