In Psalm 125:1-2, the righteous that trust in God rather than men or other solutions of the world will not be shaken but endures forever. Like the mountains that surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surround his people and protect them.

In Psalm 125:3, the wicked will be completely defeated and eliminated from the land allotted to the righteous so that the righteous will not do evil through them.

In Psalm 125:4-5, the psalmist prayed that God will do good to those who are good and upright but punish those who turn to crooked ways.

Psalm 125 Bible Study

1. God protect the righteous

If you want everything to go well with you, you must love God and do all his commandments. In James 2:10, for whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. In Psalm 145:20, the LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.
