Psalm 127 Summary
In Psalm 127:1-2, God is the source of all things. Unless he lets the builders successfully build the house, the house will never be built finished. Unless God watch over the city, the watchers will have watched in vain because God has allowed the enemies to come and attack them. Unless God provide food for you and gives you prosperity, you will have toil in vain.
In Psalm 127:3-5, children are blessings from God. Blessed are those who fear God because God will protect him from his enemies.
Psalm 127 Bible Study
1. God is the source of all things
Everything comes from God. If God did not want it to be successful, it won’t happen. Everything that happens on this earth is part of God’s will and his plan. We must thank God for everything we have because he is the one that watches over us and make us prosper. In 1 Corinthians 8:6, but to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. In Colossians 1:16, for by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: In Ephesians 4:6, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
