Psalm 133 Outline
– Live in peace and unity (Psalm 133:1-3)
Psalm 133 Summary
In Psalm 133:1-3, how good it is if we live together in peace and unity. The psalmist described the blessing of living in unity like precious oil poured on the head and drizzle down on the beard and collard of the robes. It is like the dew of Mount Hermon falling on Mount Zion. Hermon is a very high hill located further down from Jordan. The psalmist said this because the dew of Mount Hermon can never fall on Mount Zion.
Psalm 133 Bible Study
1. Live in peace with one another
Christians must live in peace and unity with one another. Christians must avoid grumbling, complaining and quarreling against one another. In 2 Corinthians 13:11, finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. In Romans 12:16, be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
