Psalm 134 Summary


In Psalm 134:1-2, all good men are servants of God. When someone does a good thing, he is serving God regardless of whether he is a Christian or not. Thus, they are praising God and giving him the glory.

In Psalm 134:3, when you do good, God, who is the maker of heaven and earth will bless you.

1. Be kind to one another

Christians must love and be kind to one another including their enemies. If you see other people in need, you must help him. If you are kind and never seek retribution on your enemies but always helping them, people will be able to see that you are a real disciple of Christ. In Matthew 22:36-40, Master, which is the great commandment in the law?  Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. In 1 John 4:20, if a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? In Romans 12:10, be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another
