Women needs to dress appropriately. Many advertisements show eomen dressing in sexy dresses. You should avoid dresses that expose different parts of the body. Some women like to dress in clothes that are sexy to attract men in the church. Your motive for going to the church should not be to seduce men or get a boyfriend. You should avoi
d wearing jewelry, piercings or tattoos to decorate yourself.
God does not want us to wear jewelry or expansive clothes to show off our bodies. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and you must use it in a way that glorify God. You may give excuse such as you are going to the church so that you must wear nicely by putting on expansive clothes, make up and jewelry. But this is not what God want from us. What he wants us is that we worship him in trutha aYond spirit. While at the church and when worship or pastor preaching, you should avoid talking, eating, talking on phone as doing these show that you don’t respect God’s presence.
You should not use your charm or beauty to get something or get someone to do something for you as this is lying. Christians cannot tell lies. You must always use your wisdom and not tell lies no matter in what circumstances. Lying is a sin. Parents must never tell lies to their children to persuade them to do something. You must use the wisdom that God gave you to persuade the child to do what you want instead of lying. Christians are to be honest with everyone. God knows everything we do or say and we cannot hide anything from GOd.
A godly woman is humble and always think of others first over herself. You must not be proud or be controlling over others. You must be gentle and willing to admit your mistake when you do wrong. Pride is no good. Pride is one of the primary factor that cause a person’s downfall. If you want to be successful, you must be humble. You must always serve others instead of being lazy and wait for others to help you.
A godly woman must submit to her husband and do what he says. You should respect your husband in every decision he make instead of trying to control him. Husbands and wives are to love one another and take into account each others’ needs.
For the man is not of the woman: but the woman of the man. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. (1 Corinthians 11:8-9 KJV)
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. (1 Corinthians 11:3 KJV)
Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives. (1 Peter 3:1 KJV)
The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. (Titus 2:3-5 KJV)
Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar. She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land. She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates. (Proverbs 31:10-31 KJV)
