We are More Than Conquerors in Christ
More than 2000 years ago, Jesus had bore all our iniquities and weaknesses on the cross. Jesus had conquered it all for us on the cross so that we can become a conqueror in Christ. If Jesus did not die on the cross for us, we will not be able to receive the forgiveness of sins. If we don’t have the forgiveness of sins, we will not be able to come before God and we will still be sinners. Because of the nature of sin, there is a wall between us and God because God is holy and he doesn’t like sin.
Once your sins are washed away by the blood of Jesus Christ, you will be able to stand before God as spotless and blameless, just as if you have not sin. Whoever that conquers the trials and tribulations in life will be given a white garment in heaven. God will never blot out his name but acknowledge you before the Father God and the angels (Revelation 3:5). Now that Jesus had died for us on the cross, our relationship with God is reconciled. Anyone who confess Jesus as lord and believe that God raised him from the dead can be saved (Romans 10:9).
Surrender Your Problems to God
The difference between Christians and pagans is that we have God’s grace. Whenever you need help, you can call on God and he will help you (Romans 10:13). In whatever problem you face, you should make God as your refuge. You should always talk to God about your problem and spend time in prayer. Prayer can change things if you are patient and persistent (Psalm 62:7). If you rely on God, God will give you strength to face your problem (Philippians 4:13). Everyone who is born of God and have faith in him will overcomes the world (1 John 5:4).
Sometimes problem happens because God wants to teach us a lesson but most people won’t be able to see this themselves. Problem happens so that God can mold us into more like the image of Christ and walk on the path of righteousness. Sometimes, we are heading in the wrong direction yet we think we are doing the will of God so God put problem in our lives so that we can think and turn back on the right track.
Put on the Full Armor of God
Christians must always put on the full armor of God so that we will stand when the day of evil comes. We must always keep watch and pray so that we will be able to escape that is going to take place. In Luke 21:36, watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. In 1 Corinthians 10:12-13, Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. In Jude 1:24, now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy. In James 4:7, submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
We must loins girt about with truth. We must always walk in the word of God, God’s truth. In John 4:24, God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. In 2 Thessalonians 2:10, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. In Colossians 3:8, but now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth
We must put on the breastplate of righteousness. In 1 Kings 3:9, Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people? In Psalm 72:2, he shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment. In Psalm 94:15, but judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it. In Proverbs 2:7-8, he layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.
Our feet must be shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. In Ephesians 6:15, and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. In Romans 10:15, and how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! In 1 Corinthians 9:16, for though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!
We must take the shield of faith to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. We must always have faith in God. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. If you don’t have faith, the enemy can easily attack you. You must recognize your position as the child of God and always believe in him. In Hebrews 11:1, now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. In Hebrews 11:6, but without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him
We must wear the helmet of salvation. We must always focus on Jesus Christ, which means salvation. In whatever problem you face, you should seek help from Jesus Christ. In Matthew 11:28, come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. In Acts 4:12, neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. In Ephesians 1:13, in whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.
We must wield ourselves with the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. We must fill ourselves with the word of God and walk in his commandments. The word of God is in the bible so we must read the bible regularly. If you don’t read and study the bible, you will not be able to equip yourself with the word of God. In Hebrews 4:12, for the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. In 2 John 1:9, whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
