The feeling of insecurity comes when you have fear. Everyone has different fears. Having fear is unhealthy for us. Fear makes you feel insecure and takes away the peace in your heart. We can get shelter in many things in life but most of us also have some inner shadows. Feeling of insecurity is triggered by unhealthy fears. There are healthy fear such as fear of fierce animal, and doing dangerous things. These fears protect us from being harmed. Unhealthy fears makes us feel insecured and oppressed.
The bible tells us that fear does not come from God. The Spirit of God gives peace in our heart. In 2 Timothy 1:7 KJV, For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Fear is no good so you must get it out of your heart if you have it.
To get rid of the feeling of insecurity, you must determine what is causing that feeling. You must let go whatever that is causing that feeling of insecurity. Sometimes, it is the thing that we are holding on to so tightly and not willing to let go that cause the feeling of insecurity. If that thing which you hold on so tightly is causing you fear and insecurity, it is oppressing you and you must let go. We must not always try to hold on to something so tightly and learn to follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit. God always has a better way to help you through your problem.
Everyone of us is concern about our future. We want the best for ourselves in the future. The pagans who want to find out about their future would go to a fortune teller, look at astrology and etc. All these ways are evil and useless. The best solution is to surrender your life to God and let him guide you in your future path. This is because God knows your future and he knows what will happen. Your future is in God’s hand. However, it is not to say that all you need to do is just to pray. You also have to do something if you want to have a good future.
The bible says lazy people will not get anything. If you want to be successful, you must be hardworking. But we must not just rely on our own strength and wisdom like how the non believers do. You now believe in God so you should tell him about your concern for your future. Not relying in God is a sin so you must always discuss your life issue with God. God’s way is always the best for your future.
Nothing is impossible with God and he can help you to overcome all your insecurities. If you persistently pray and trust in him, he can take away all your insecurities. God is the God of peace. If you fully surrender yourself to God, the Holy Spirit will fill you and the peace of God will be in your heart at all time.
With the help of God, you are more than conquerors in Christ. We should always pray and trust God in whatever difficult circumstance we face.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. (Romans 8:37 KJV)
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. (Philippians 4:6-9)
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love (1 JOhn 4:18 KJV).
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. (Ephesians 6:10-20 KJV)
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. (Matthew 6:25-34 KJV)
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. (Proverbs 4:23 KJV)
He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. (Revelation 21:7 KJV)
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:19 KJV)
Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all. (2 Thessalonians 3:16 KJV)
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33 KJV)

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. (Isaiah 12:2 KJV)
Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. (Philippians 4:9 KJV)
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. (1 Corinthians 14:33 KJV)
I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. (Psalm 4:8 KJV)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23 KJV)
