Hearing God’s voice is possible for those who have an intimate relationship with God. God can speak audibly to a person on some occasions. God can also communicate to us through our minds. FOr example, you may suddenly feel like doing something. Often, God will use the scripture in the bible to speak to us. He can flash a scripture over your thoughts to talk to you. He can also use people including believers and non believers to talk to you. He can use different situations to talk to you.

It is important to read the bible because He can only speak to you when you know His word. If you have no knowledge of the bible, it can be difficult for God to speak to you. The bible is God’s message to us. You must not disregard the bible as it is from God. The content of the bible is written by people who are inspired by the Holy Spirit. The bible contains information about God’s commands to us, what he expect in our conduct of lives. It also contain God’s promises, which we can hold on to in different situations in our lives.

You must know how to discern God’s voice. God’s voice is kind and will not do harm to you. God is good and he will never harm you. God’s voice is consistent with His words in the bible. If it isn’t consistent with the word of God in the bible, it is not from God.

God wants us to have fellowship with him before he can speak to us. It is same just like a relationship between two person. When you have a close relationship with someone, you will always to talk to that person. You should always discuss with God about the issues that happen in your life and let him guide you in everything that you do, When you talk to God in prayer, You can have fellowship with God through prayer and worship time. God listens. When God talk to you, you must not ignore but obediently listen and do what he says.

Every lifeform that God creates in the universe is a result of His word. When God says it, it is created since the beginning of the world. God does not automatically guide us in all the problems we face unless we come to him. Jesus said his sheep will hear and recognize him. Only those who belong to God can recognize God’s voice.
