Nowadays, people always like to go for cosmetic surgery to change the way they look. God creates each of us in a unique way and we all look beautiful in our own ways. There is no need to go for cosmetic surgery to change your appearance and please other people. You don’t have to care what people say about how you look.

All it matters is that you have a heart for obeying God’s commandments and serving him. Making changes to your body to look even better is vanity. This is no matter if you are born with face features that you think are not nice. The most important thing is not how you present yourself to other people, but how you present yourself to God.

Going for cosmetic surgery is not biblical no matter what excuses you have such as bad face features that are distracting to others or want a job badly or want to please your boyfriend and etc. This is because God created you the way you are.

If you have a need, you should pray to God and ask him to help you. You are God’s child and he will provide for you and give you what you ask for if you pray according to his will and walk in his commandments. Unless you suffer from a serious face injury, you should not go for cosmetic surgery.

Your body is the temple of God so you must use it in every way that honor God. Undergoing for a cosmetic surgery does not guarantee that you will be loved and accepted by people. Often, it is how a person look at herself that lead her to make the decision to go for cosmetic surgery. If you have high self esteem, you will not care about meeting the standards of attractiveness in your society. The bible tells us not to compromise and conform to the standards of the world. As Christians, we must set ourselves apart from the world, live a simple and modest life, so that other non believers will see the testimony of Jesus Christ in you.

Another thing is that cosmetic surgery can produce long term side effects on your health. Sometimes, it can even cause death on the patient. It is a hefty price you have to pay for vanity. If you have gone for cosmetic surgery before, you should confess it to God and ask him to forgive you.

Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. (1 Peter 3:3-4 KJV)

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. (Proverbs 31:30 KJV)

The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. (Isaiah 40:8 KJV)

He has made everything appropriate[a] in its time. He has also put eternity in their hearts,[b] but man cannot discover the work God has done from beginning to end. (Ecclesiastes 3:11 KJV)

Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. (Ezekiel 28:17 KJV)

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (Genesis 1:27 KJV)

So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him. (Psalm 45:11 KJV)

In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array. (1 Timothy 2:9 KJV)
