When Jesus come back for the second time, he will appear in the clouds in the sky and everyone on earth will see him. In Revelation 1:7, behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. At that time, the Son of Man will come in clouds with great power and glory (Mark 13:26; Luke 21:27; Matthew 24:30)

At the sound of the trumpet of the archangel, the bodies of the dead in the grave will rise first. Then, the followers who are alive will be raptured up into the sky along with their bodies to meet Jesus Christ and we will live with him in the kingdom of heaven forever. In 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17, for this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

When is Jesus Coming Back to the Earth Again?

No one knows when Jesus Christ is coming back for the second time to the earth so we must always keep watch. The second coming of Jesus Christ to the earth will occur at a time when no one is expecting it (Matthew 24:36-5;2 Peter 3:10). In the parable of the ten virgins (Matthew 25:1-13), Jesus used the examples of 5 wise virgins and 5 foolish virgins. The 5 wise virgins had prepared oil in the jar but the 5 foolish virgins did not took oil in the jars. When the bridegroom arrived, the 5 foolish virgins had to go out to buy the oil because their oil has used up and the 5 wise virgins wouldn’t lend because there isn’t enough oil left for them. Therefore, we must always be prepared for Jesus’ second coming.

It is wrong to be alarmed and follow a date that someone has set concerning Jesus’ second coming. For example, some people believe in the date that people has set for Jesus’ second coming and they sold off all their possessions before the date. This is the work of the devil. We must believe in what Jesus says that ‘But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.’ (Matthew 24:36). We should just continue with our daily routines and walk in obedience of all of God’s commandments and patiently wait for Jesus’ second coming.
