The Holy Spirit is our weapon of warfare. The Holy Spirit is the comforter and advocator whom the Father has send for us. He can help to intercede the groans that is inexpressable with words when you pray in tongue. He can talk to you and guide you in all the truth.
Ephesians 6:10-18 states that we must put on the whole armor of God so that we can fight against all kinds of evil. This is because we are constantly being exposed to all kinds of evil including bad influences, demonic forces and etc through the circumstances, people we meet and things we are exposed to. To fight against demonic power, you must spend time to pray, study God’s words and worship him. In addition, you must abide in God’s commandments. When you abide in God by doing his commandments, the devil has no place to accuse you before God’s throne.
Jesus said he is the way, the truth and the life and no one can come to the Father except through him. Jesus said that you will be set free when you know the truth. Knowing the truth of God’s word is a sanctification for us and it is part of our armor. The truth is that Jesus is the only way of salvation, that Jesus has died on the cross for our sins and was raised to life on the third day. Jesus came into the world through the virgin birth of Mary. Jesus is coming back again for the second time. Jesus is blameless so he could be a fit sacrifice of sin on teh cross. Jesus is our deity and advocate.
God demands us to be holy for him. We are to do our best to show ourselves as a workman approved by God. We are to imitate the righteous of Christ by doing the commandments of God. If you did not abide in Christ, the devil will not be afraid of you even if you rebuke him in Jesus name. This is because the devil know you are disobedient and he has a place to accuse you before God. If the devil could accuse you before God’s throne, it means that he has the permission to attack you.
We must put on the shield of faith, which can quench the fiery darts from the evil ones. We must always have faith in God, instead of relying on our wisdoms. Doubting in God gives the devil chance to attack you and cause troubles in your life. When you have faith in God, you will find that God hear and answer your prayer.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8 KJV)
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. (Ephesians 6:10-20 KJV)
Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. (2 Corinthians 2:11 KJV)

And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.(1 John 5:19 KJV)
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. (1 John 2:15-17 KJV)
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; (Ephesians 4:22 KJV)
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. (2 Corinthians 4:4 KJV)
Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him. (Matthew 4:1-11 KJV)

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; (Ephesians 6:18 KJV)
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (Philippians 4:6 KJV)
I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. (1 Timothy 2:8 KJV)

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. (1 John 3:22 KJV)
Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. (James 4:3 KJV)
