Every Christian has the responsibility to leading non believers to Christ. In your life, you will have plenty of opportunity to save a lost soul because there are a lot of people you will meet. out of the people you meet, there will always be someone who are not believers. You are to talk about the good news to them so that they will also get to know Jesus Christ as their Savior. No one is righteous as everyone fall short of God’s glory and is a sinner. Jesus said he is the way, the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except through Jesus. God loves the lost souls who are sinners and desire everyone to come to know him. Salvation is a free gift from God for anyone who put their faith in Jesus Christ.
When you witness the gospel to others, you can point out relevant scriptures from the bible to them. You can give the person a gospel tape or video tape or CD/DVD that contain gospel tract for them to listen. When you do so, you are planting seeds in them. Not everyone you preach the gospel may come to accept Jesus Christ. Others may also talk the gospel to them through different circumstances and may be one day they will make the decision to believe in Jesus Christ. Sowing seeds of the gospel is as important as harvesting. You can personally give the gospel tract to the person, or mail it to those who request from you, or put in public places.
Another way of witnessing to Christ is through visitation. You can make visitations to those who have problems or those who haven’t believe in Jesus Christ. You can pray with these people about the problems they face during the visitations. When they experience God in their lives, they will be more open to accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior. You can include the non believers in your family, friends, acquaintances and those you meet in your prayer every day. Proverbs 11:30 states that the fruit of the righteous is a tree of life and he that win souls is wise.
You can witness Christ to people through your lifestyle. If you live your life by God’s commandments, it will be easier to win people to Christ as you demonstrate a good testimony. You should avoid doing things that compromise with the world as this shows that you are not any different from the non believers who follow the practices of the world.
